Speed and Accuracy

A 12‑bit analog‑to‑digital converter in SRC detects web movement as small as 0.001 inches, ensuring precise edge tracking. The system operates reliably at line speeds up to 3,000 feet per minute.

Motorized scanners

SRC scanners automatically seek the web edge and lock onto it. They can also pre‑position the web at a programmed reference point or maintain it at an operator‑specified location.

Reduced waste

With its fast response time, SRC handles splices and tension upsets with significantly less waste than competing systems. During normal production, built‑in statistical optimization further enhances quality and stability.

Customization

SRC is a true digital control system. There are no potentiometers or setup switches — every parameter is entered digitally through the Operator Panel.

Statistical quality monitor

SRC eliminates subjective quality guesswork. The SQM feature provides numeric values that let you compare actual quality against job specifications. This data is invaluable for troubleshooting and optimizing press parameters.

Splicer feedback

SRC links directly with splicer controls to automatically eliminate roll‑setup errors, delivering cleaner splices, smoother startups, and reduced waste.
